How to Become a Member of AKISAN Katy Texas
All Akwa Ibom indigenes and their families in the Katy area and the surrounding cities of Texas are eligible to become members of the Association.
An indigene is someone of whom at least one of his or her parents/grandparents is an Akwa Ibomite; all other Nigerians otherwise affiliated with Akwa Ibom State by birth, marriage, naturalization, or domicile and resident in Katy, Texas, are also Indigenous members.
